How do I register for classes?

To begin registering for classes, all students are encouraged to reach out to advising (whether that be through our advising department or through the department faculty contact).  Once you are ready to begin, you can follow the steps listed on the Registration & Enrollment Services "Apply Now" website. 

How much does classes cost?

Our tuition varies based on whether or not a student in an in-county (meaning lives in Coconino County), in-state resident (meaning lives in Arizona) and what course the student wants to take.  All of these tuition rates can be seen on the Registration & Enrollment Services "Tuition Pricing" page. 

Are there programs that can help with the cost of tuition, books, testing, etc?

Yes.  Students may apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  They may also apply for various types of scholarships through CCC or other entities.

What classes do you offer and what are the pre-requisites?

Our fire science program offers a variety of courses that can be completed to finish a degree or certificate.  Additionally these courses could be used to learn new skills or complete recertification.  These course descriptions and the associated pre-requisites can be viewed on the Loading... by searching for "FSC" pre-fix.

Where is the pre-course paperwork packet for FSC 180 Fire Fighter I and II?

The pre-course paperwork packet and be downloaded for completion by accessing the Pre-Class Information and Check-Off Sheet.

Is there a recommended order to take classes?

Yes, there is a recommended order to complete the courses.  This pathway has been designed to assist students to complete their academic and career goals in a timely manner.  This information can be viewed on the particular degree or certificate page under "Semester Sequences."    Select a degree or certificate below to find this information:
