CCC GED-Prep classes run a term-enrollment policy, any individual who has registered and completed new student orientation can begin classes when a new quarter begins. Program participants will learn more about class start-date options during the final step of registration.

Classes are open to anyone at least 16 years old and legally present in the United States. Our mission is to help individuals develop the skills needed to obtain High School Equivalency (HSE) and enhance daily life and create opportunities to pursue sustainable careers and/or higher education.

 

Program Registration

To register for the GED-Prep program please complete these steps:

 

Term Schedule

Quarterly sessions begin:

  • August 25, 2025
  • October 20, 2025
  • January 12, 2026
  • March 23, 2026

 

*You must be registered and completed placement testing prior to attending classes.

 

Class Information

  • Classes accessible virtually (via Zoom) throughout Coconino County
  • Program sites with services available in Flagstaff & Page
  • Classes free to Coconino County residents ages 16+
  • Multiple pathways to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma
  • Study plans are personalized, offering one-on-one tutoring, in-person classes, and/or independent online courses
  • Free Official GED Practice Tests and opportunities to have GED exam fully funded

GED Testing is also available in Page at Coconino Community College's campus there, see contact info. Information may also be found on the GED.com website, where all GED exams are scheduled and paid for.

Students Under 18 Years Old (two additional registration steps)

  • Obtain a Withdrawal Form from the last public school you were enrolled in.
    • Students under 18 cannot be enrolled into our program without this form.  
    • If home schooled, parents/guardians should provide a letter stating the student is no longer being home schooled and is not enrolled in a public school.

  • Complete the GED Parental Permission Form (notarization required).

  • hard copy of both the Withdrawal and Parental Permission forms must be submitted to NAU's Testing Center.
    • Students under 18 without this completed form will not be able to schedule GED exams.
