Transferring To Another Institution

Students intending to transfer to another institution should meet with an academic advisor to learn about the resources available and how to facilitate transfer of CCC credits to the university. Among these resources are the Course Equivalency Guide, which is used to determine transferability of CCC courses, and AZTransfer, which is an online evaluation tool for transfer students.

Transfer Programs

Northern Arizona University

The CCC2NAU program offers a seamless transition from CCC to Northern Arizona University. Students are assigned to a NAU Academic Advisor who works from the Flagstaff Lone Tree campus. Program participants receive an individualized advising plan that maximizes the number of courses that apply to a baccalaureate degree. Arizona State University

The ASU Transfer Admissions Guarantee program (TAG) provides students with a prescribed sequence of coursework that meets the lower-division course requirements for an ASU major. When you complete your TAG, you will have met the requirements for your associate degree and be on track toward earning your bachelor’s degree. Other Transfer Partnerships

In addition to its collaboration with the above Arizona universities, CCC has academic partnerships with these four-year colleges:

Northcentral University

  • Guaranteed admission
  • CCC alumni and employees receive 10 percent tuition discount, not to exceed $2,000 for the program (Benefit Code CCC).
  • Upon receiving AA, AS, or AAS from CCC, may concurrently enroll at NCU and earn up to 90 transfer semester hours at CCC with course grades of 2.0 or higher to count toward NUC’s 120 semester-hour baccalaureate.

University of Phoenix

  • All credits with 1.66 GPA awarded by CCC will transfer, 2.0 GPA required to exempt UP course
  • Students within 12 months of graduation may pre apply to UP and gain access to UP library services
  • Program Transfer Guides (PTG) provided

Western International University

  • All AA,AAGS, ABUS, AFA and AS degrees transfer as a 60-credit block
  • AAS and AGS transfer 60 credits through a Pathway in which all credits are accepted as block
  • Credits with C or better that are not part of Associate degree will be reviewed and transferred as either Selective, General Education, Common Body of Knowledge, or Core
  • Maximum transfer credits accepted based on WIU residency requirements
