Federal Work Study and Student Wage

Federal Work Study (FWS) and Student Wage (SW) positions usually become available at the end of the Spring semester or prior to the beginning of Fall semester. Visit this site frequently for current openings.

Federal Work Study is a federally funded Title IV program.  The purpose of the program is to help students, with a demonstrated financial need, contribute financially towards their college education, and to assist the College in performing duties that do not require full-time employees.  These specific duties are to directly contribute to the operation of the College as a whole.

Federal guidelines also require the College to provide community service jobs. Community Service jobs supported by the College are required to primarily benefit the community as opposed to the school.

Students who desire to work on-campus or with a contracted Community Service Agency as a Federal Work Study employee should complete an application for employment on-line.
