Pinning ceremony celebrates first nursing class since accreditation

PAGE, Ariz. -- The President of the Coconino Community College Foundation Chris Bavasi recently announced that the Page/Lake Powell Chamber of Commerce has created a $1,000 scholarship in their name to help a deserving CCC student each year. Flagstaff, Ariz. -- Director of Student Support Services at Coconino Community College, Veronica Hipolito, announced today that Coconino Community College (CCC) will receive the first TRIO Grant since the College opened in 1991. Flagstaff, Ariz. -- A collaborative effort between representatives of Goodwill Industries of Northern Arizona and Coconino Community College produced the first ever "First Jobs Summer Youth Employment Program" graduating class. Highlands Fire Department Chief Mike Bradly hands over a Cascade System air bottle to Public Safety, Law and Allied Health Department Chairman David Ramos, making their donation to the Fire Science program official. The Highlands Fire District has donated a Cascade System and 60 bottles to the Fire Science Department at Coconino Community College. Flagstaff, Ariz -- The Nackard Companies/Hi-Line Vending Operations Manager, Stacey Wolter presented a check donated by President and CEO, Patrick Nackard for nearly $4,000 last week to Coconino Community College’s Foundation as part of an ongoing commitment to the College.
