FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Coconino Community College announced at their January 27, 2015 District Governing Board Meeting that District Governing Board representatives Dr. Nathaniel White, District 1, Gioia Goodrum, District 3, and Patrick Hurley, District 4, were recently sworn in by Coconino County Officials. Ms. Goodrum was appointed to serve a one-year term in December 2013 when her predecessor resigned before the term expired. FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- A new Mountain Line route along with a new service schedule will provide Coconino Community College students, staff and visitors greater access to and from the College. PAGE, Ariz. -- When Coconino Community College announced it would be moving from a campus to an instructional site, many thought it was the end of higher education in Page. FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Gioia Goodrum, the President/CEO of the Williams Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to the Coconino Community College District Governing Board. Coconino County Superintendent of Schools Robert Kelty appointed Goodrum to serve after CCC District Governing Board member Jack Hadley resigned in November. Since 2004, The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with Coconino Community College and the Arizona Detention Association to design and implement a Basic Detention Academy for Detention Officers. FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Northern Arizona children will enjoy the opportunity to experience a slice of college as part of Coconino Community College's summer Kids College, thanks to a generous grant from the Page/Lake Powell Community Foundation. First Things First, a statewide early-childhood program funded through a tobacco tax, awarded the college a first year grant of $38,512. The grant can be renewed for two additional years. FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- On October 20, 2011 Arizona Public Service (APS) presented a $10,000 check to Coconino Community College (CCC) Foundation to fund the College's Adult Basic Education Program.  CCC assists between 400 to 450 Adult Education learners each year.
