Dozens of ceramic pieces made by student members of the Coconino Community College Clay Club were offered for sale to help support the students and the club.   FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - A great deal of work goes on behind the scenes of making something as simple as a ceramic mug or bowl. CCC students and staff participate in the "22 Pushup Challenge for Our Veterans" to raise awareness about veteran suicides.   Flagstaff, Ariz. - Their faces determined, their goal was clear: 2,200 pushups in one hour.   The reason: Raise awareness about the grim statistic that 22 United States veterans, including generals, commit suicide every day.   On Tuesday, Nov. 6, more than 20 students and staff at Coconino Community College participated in the “22 Pushup Challenge for Our Veterans.” The event was organized by the Associated Student Body at CCC.   [...]

Construction Technology Management students at CCC volunteered their time on Saturday, Oct. 27, to do some painting, landscaping and other work at Sharon Manor, a transitional housing program for victims of domestic violence.     FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The students painted, did minor repairs, shoveled gravel and put their backs into some landscaping.
