Comet Walk: Pollinators
Since it's Pollinator Week, this Comet Walk will focus on pollinators! CCC recently joined the Bee Campus USA program due to its commitment to pollinator conservation and educational programs.
Join NAU Professor of Forest Entomology, Richard Hofstetter, as we walk CCC's Lone Tree Campus. We will examine the native plants found in the vicinity of the campus, their pollinators, other forest insects, and discuss the local ecology. Our tour will include CCC's native plants garden. Participants will receive milkweed plugs and seed packets courtesy of Dr. Hofstetter's Arizona Milkweed for Monarchs program.
