Coconino Community College is excited to welcome Gallaudet University Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Eyasu Tamene presenting at 4 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2022.
Dr. Tamene, who is from Ethiopia, will present an overview of African Sign Languages and their Deaf Communities.
He will also share information on the new initiative called the African Sign Language Resource Center which is working together to solve challenges of Deaf Education in Africa.
Free and open to the public.
ASL Interpreters provided.
