Technical Drafting & CAD Fundamentals

Available to Dual Enrollment Students only. Technical drafting fundamentals, supported by introductions to computer-aided drafting (CAD), enabling the familiarization and visualization of drafting principles, standards, tools, and techniques. Two lecture. Two lab.

 

DFT 150 (3)

AutoCAD 2D

Available to Dual Enrollment Students only.This course will enable students to utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD) in a 2D medium. Prerequisite: DFT 110 or consent of instructor. Two lecture; two lab.

 

DFT 155 (3)

SolidWorks and the Manufacturing Environment

Available to Dual Enrollment Students only.This course will enable students to utilize SolidWorks, a 3-D parametric solid modeling software.  Students will also explore the relationship of SolidWorks in the world of manufacturing.   Three Lecture.  May be taken for S/U credit with instructor approval.

 

DFT 200 (3)

AutoCAD 3D 

Available to Dual Enrollment Students only.This course furthers a student’s mastery of computer-aided drafting (CAD) by exploring how to unlock the power of 3D through the use of advanced AutoCAD applications. Prerequisite: *DFT 150. Two lecture; two lab.
