What is Career Services?

Coconino Community College Career Services provides students with assistance in career/major exploration, resume building, interviewing skills, job search strategies, and job application assistance.

Where are we Located?

The Career Services office is located at the Lone Tree campus in the Student Center, Room 118. Due to COVID-19, advisors are standing by to meet with you over Zoom to discuss your career goals.  Schedule a Zoom appointment  with a Career Advisor or call  928-226-4323  for assistance.

Zoom Career Workshop Series

  • Discovering Your Strengths  For a recording of this workshop contact -   Carolyn Christianer
    This first workshop will walk you through various career assessments that are free for CCC students. Before you choose a major, look for a job, or network with potential employers, it is smart to have a career plan. Before you can create your career plan or market yourself, you must know your strengths.
  • Virtual Networking  
    We will discuss virtual networking and why it’s important in your job hunt and career plan. Tips will be provided on setting up a LinkedIn profile and how to conduct an informational interview
  • Nursing 101 (presentation)
    This presentation provides an overview of the process and requirements of applying to our AAS Nursing program 
  • How to Ace the Interview
    April 20, 2021, 12noon-1:00pm

    Sara Benet from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in CA will review what to wear on an interview, preparing your elevator pitch, and how to answer common interview questions. Check your CCC email for the Zoom link to join this session.
