503 STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

503   STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY

Students enrolled at Coconino Community College are responsible for abiding by the laws governing the College and are expected to observe standards of conduct set by the College. The College receives its authority to set conduct standards under the policies of the State Board of Directors for Community Colleges of Arizona. These policies, in turn, are guided by laws enacted by the Arizona State Legislature.

Administrative procedures relating to student conduct, disciplinary action, and involuntary withdrawal will be determined by the President in consultation with appropriate administrative staff, faculty and students. Procedures will be followed to ensure due process should a student violate a College rule or regulation not directly involving academic performance and achievement. The President is expressly authorized to enforce the rules set forth under the Code.
