The Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education is designed to prepare students for positions within the field of Early Childhood Education. • Know how to establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment
• Practice applying social and emotional development techniques
• Understand how to advance physical and intellectual development
• Determine how to establish productive relationships with families
• Observe and record children’s behavior
• Understand principles of child growth and development
