New to Higher Ed

If you have never taken college courses, new to this whole idea of higher education, don’t be scared. BE EXCITED!

We have many students that the concept of higher education is very new to them.  They are not sure where to start or what questions to ask. That is why Coconino Community College is here for you. These students have been in the job force, needing a change. They are parents who have been raising children, who now have time to further their education. There are recent high school graduates that are having difficulty finding jobs. The stories are endless, yet you will find someone who shares your situation.

CCC offers the Passages Program, which will assist with single parents and displaced homemakers. We offer Disability Resources to those in need of assistance.  There are many caring and qualified staff to help you achieve your goals

The CCC2NAU program offers an easy transition into NAU for those looking to advance into a bachelor’s degree or higher. The CCC2NAU program would only apply to NAU, yet your classes may transfer to other universities.

CCC provides affordable education to help you earn the degree or certificate that you desire. Inquire about financial aid to assist with the cost of your classes and expenses.  The Office of Student Financial Aid and Veterans Services can assist with questions.
