SPANISH PLACEMENT EXAM

Coconino Community College requires a placement exam for all students wishing to enroll in Spanish 102 or higher who do not have proof of pre-requisite. We recommend the placement test if the student has any previous experience with Spanish in the last 2 years.

IF YOU ARE FLUENT IN A LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH – Please see an advisor. You may be able to meet the language requirement of your degree without taking a class.

IN ARIZONA PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES (ASU, UofA, NAU)

Almost ALL Bachelor of Arts degrees require 4th semester proficiency in a foreign language. Almost ALL Bachelor of Science degrees require 2nd semester proficiency.

Some degrees at NAU require 3rd semester proficiency.
