The Fine Arts program is designed for students planning to transfer to a 4-year college or university as well as community members interested in pursuing their own creative journey. The Fine Arts Program gives students strong foundation level skills, including composition and the history of art, music, and theater. Students are encouraged to participate in performance and exhibit opportunities that showcase their work for the community.

 Program Objectives

1.      The Fine Arts Program area provides courses that are transferable to Arizona universities. These include AGEC Common Courses for the Associate of Arts Degree in Visual Arts.

2.      The Fine Arts Program area provides courses for community members interested in developing their skills and knowledge in the creative arts and who aren’t necessarily planning to transfer to another school.

The Fine Arts Program area provides regular opportunities for students to demonstrate their creative endeavors and skills for the public through exhibits and performances of student work.
